The Schuck sleeve SU is the big brother of the SMU and is used analogously for connecting pipes. In contrast to
SMU, the SU has another sealing system and is only available for nominal widths from DN 500.

Due to the high frictional forces of the sealing rings with large diameters, the SU has a sealing system without sealing rings, whereby the sleeve can be easily pushed over the pipes to be connected.
The seal is effected by tightening the screws located in the front of the collar.
As a result, only the seal is braced against the base pipe.
With the help of weld-on collars, the SU is welded to the base pipe.
