Hydrogen – The gaseous energy source is traded by politicians, industry and economists as one of the game changers for the future of our climate policy and for achieving the climate targets of Net Zero Emissions by 2050. The current problem of storing, renewable, electricity-based energy (e.g. from wind and solar energy) can be solved by the so-called Power to X technology.
Power-to-gas technology (PtG) can convert excess electricity through the electrolysis of water and electricity to hydrogen. This in turn can be used or stored in existing underground storage facilities where it can be called upon when there is a high demand. The medium is transported and distributed in the existing natural gas network or specially developed hydrogen routes.
With the SCHUCK Group’s H2ready certified product range, the networks of the future can be expanded today to ensure all the necessary requirements for a sustainable and decarbonised energy system.
All products approved for operation with hydrogen were checked as part of their development with regard to the challenge that the medium of hydrogen brings and only released after they have been fully tested and verified by an independent test laboratory.
