New pipeline linear expansion joints
The new generation of linear expansion joints is characterized by the fact that the metal conductivity of the pipeline is not interrupted by the expansion joint. This is necessary for cathodic corrosion protection. In this way, the parts at risk of corrosion are permanently protected. The compensator is suitable for bi-directional pigging. The optimal component design results in a higher component utilization, which ultimately results in a weight reduction.
