Master thesis – Water tolerance and sour room tolerance of our fittings

You check in detail the effects of the critical media hydrogen and sour gas on our valves in theory and practice.

Your tasks

Determining the tolerance of our core products regarding hydrogen-natural gas mixtures and sour gas through theoretical investigations, clarification with our suppliers and tests
Evaluate the findings and create a way to transfer them to the other products
Developing constructive recommendations for Schuck’s products due to the corresponding effects of hydrogen and sour gas

Your qualifications

Students of a technical degree program (preferably specializing in materials technology or mechanical engineering)
Ideally experience with hydrogen-related damage mechanisms or with gas fittings
Careful, independent and goal-oriented way of working
